I worked for many years at Dolce & Gabbana on Bond Street, where I looked after the brand’s Fine Jewellery. London – exciting and international with its extraordinary residents is an important city for historic and exclusive jewellery.

One day, at one of those typical standing receptions in Chelsea, I met Oliver Rheinfrank. We struck up a conversation straight away and discussed who might own the most impressive collection of vintage jewellery: Madonna, Barbra Streisand or Anna Wintour. Each of these iconic women could no doubt house a museum of their own with their jewels.

Oliver and I hit it off straight away and at some point he asked me if I could imagine running the new Rheinfrank & Holzfuss showroom in Munich.

First step was Berlin, where I was introduced to the world of Rheinfrank & Holzfuss. After a slight delay, our little shop at 41 Klenzestraße in Munich’s Glockenbach district finally opened –  and here we are!

Wow. What a wonderful city.

For me, Munich has it all: elegance, culture, an international crowd, beautiful architecture and, at the same time, a tranquillity that is often missing in London or Berlin. I knew pretty quickly that I’d made the right move!

Our Munich showroom is intentionally rather small and intimate. This setting is precisely what many of our customers love. The collection we present has been carefully curated and the results are truly special. Antique engagement rings, Victorian jewellery, Art Deco diamonds and extraordinary one-offs spanning 250 years of history. We feel connected to every single piece!

Today, we welcome not only our Munich customers but also those traveling through Germany in search of authentic and historic jewellery whilst our online shop makes international purchasing an effortless pleasure.

Looking back, that evening in Chelsea changed my life – and for that I am grateful.

Please do visit us at our Munich showroom in the Glockenbach district.

We look forward to seeing you.

Yours, Dalibor Jaksic
